Scope and Content Note
This series contains correspondence, memoranda, comparison/cost analysis, reports, surveys, copies of news articles and collective bargaining proposals. It provides information on numerous labor relations issues including employee benefits, affirmative action issues, salaries, leave programs, job descriptions and alternative employment programs. The series was created and used inconjunction with developing and negotiating contracts with employee unions, and as such, also contains copies of union proposals, and minutes of meetings.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
