Scope and Content Note
The series consists of originals and copies of press releases issued by the State Energy Office (often in the name of the commissioner) concerning various energy issues, advisories, surveys, and regulations. Indexing the releases are press release advisory logs which list release number, date, and a "slug" identifying the central topic or content of the release. Included at the fore of the series are a small amount of statements issued by governor Mario M. Cuomo (1992-1993) on energy matters.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
