This series contains records created by Public Education Bureau staff related to the development and implementation of annual
"Safe Summer" campaigns. The Safe Summer Program was developed to provide safe, drug and alcohol free activities for children
while promoting awareness of the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse. The Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services
works closely with governmental units at all levels to assure such cooperative educational programming.
