Scope and Content Note

This series consists of verbatim transcripts of the commission's public meetings prepared by a private stenographic service. The transcripts are created in order to serve as a fuller documentation of meeting discussions than that provided by the official minutes.

The transcripts, informally referred to as "session minutes," are regarded as unofficial and are created in order to provide a more complete documentation of meeting discussions than that provided by the official minutes. Each transcript contains a statement that the document has not been reviewed, edited, or corrected and should not be used for any legal actions or proceedings.

19593-00: This accretion consists of verbatim transcripts of the Public Service Commission's 1995 public meetings prepared by a private stenographic service in order to serve as a fuller documentation of meeting discussions than that provided by the official minutes. The transcripts, informally referred to as "session minutes," are regarded as unofficial and are so labeled.

19593-00A: This accretion consists of verbatim transcripts of meetings (transferred to microfilm) held by the Public Service Commission in 1990, 1991, and 1993. The transcripts are intended to serve as fuller documentation of meeting discussions than that provided by the official minutes.

19593-01: This accretion consists of verbatim transcripts of the Public Service Commission's 1996 public meetings prepared by a private stenographic service. The transcripts are regarded as unofficial and are created in order to provide more complete documentation of meeting discussions than that provided by the official minutes. Each transcript contains a disclaimer indicating that the transcript has not been reviewed, corrected, or edited and that its contents may not be used as grounds for legal action without commission authorization.

19593-02: This accretion consists of verbatim transcripts of the Public Service Commission's 1997 public meetings prepared by a private stenographic service. Included with the original transcripts are one to three copies.
