Scope and Content Note

20978-05: These 9" x 9" black and white aerial photographs show parts of New York State adjacent to Connecticut and New Jersey. Photographs are 1:24,000 in scale.

20978-10: This accretion consists of aerial photographs corresponding to U.S. Geological Survey quadrangles. The photos are printed at 1:24,000 scale on transparent polyester or acetate sheets measuring approximately 24 x 30 inches. All quadrangles may not be present. These images may duplicate images in the earlier accession.

20978-11: This single aerial photograph depicts the Harriman State Office Campus (Albany, N.Y.) and immediate surrounding area.

20978-11A: This accretion consists of film negatives and positives of the metropolitan New York City area and several counties from all regions of the state, as follows: Broome, Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Madison, Monroe, Nassau, Niagara, Oneida, Onondaga, Ontario, Orange, Oswego, Otsego, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Steuben, Sullivan, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne, and Westchester.

20978-11B: This accretion consists of CDs containing scanned images from film negatives of aerial imagery of Oneida, Otsego, and Rensselaer Counties. Negatives depicted in these scanned images are in accession 20978-11A.

20978-11C: This accretion consists of approximately 50 rolls of aerial photographic film depicting the North Country and the following counties: Westchester, Rockland, Suffolk, Nassau, Rensselaer, Otsego, Fulton, and Montgomery.

20978-12: This accretion consists of a single oversize color aerial photograph, created by Aerial Express of Tempe, AZ, depicting an unknown small area of Long Island.

20978-12A: This accretion consists of 48 rolls of aerial photographic film depicting multiple parts of Western New York State including: Niagara County, Erie County, as well as the cities of Buffalo and Rochester and the Village of East Syracuse. Additionally, these records include photographic film depicting parcel measurements, batch maps, and original town coding maps for numerous townships such as Dewitt, Grand Island, Lackawanna, Lewiston, and Niagara Falls.
