Summary:
This series consists of official procedures of the State Park Police and as such range from the routine (such as how to wear memorial ribbons on uniforms) to the very significant (such as how to deal with suicidal persons). Although a unit of the State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, the State Park Police are a fully accredited law enforcement agency. Their responsibilities extend outside park boundaries and they work in cooperation with the State Police and county and municipal law enforcement agencies.
