Summary:
This series contains film negatives and photographic prints of historic sites, buildings, bridges, statues, monuments, and
a few persons of statewide or local significance. It apparently contains interfiled photographs resulting from several projects
to document historic sites in New York State. The projects included a Federally sponsored historic sites survey (circa 1936-1939);
preliminary work on the Historical Album of New York State (1941-1942); and a resurvey of historic sites conducted by the
Division of Archives and History (circa 1947-1949).
