Scope and Content Note
This series contains conditional sales contracts that the Secretary of State was required to maintain pursuant to personal law in relation to conditional sales contracts. The records contain the names of the seller and buyer, date of filing, filing number, date of cancellation or discharge, or vacation by court order. Some also include a copy of the indenture, which gives a detailed description of the specifications of the rolling stock, including numbers and/or names.
