This series consists of a single volume entitled, "Lands Bought in for the State on the Foreclosure of Mortgages" [Commissioners for Loaning Certain Monies of the U.S.]. The volume contains #283-#786 of mortgages foreclosed. Each record includes the mortgagee's name, lots affected, a brief description, county, amount, foreclosure date, resale, and amount. The volume is marked "Vol. 2"; Volume 1 was not transferred to the State Archives and is not believed to be extant.
