Scope and Content Note
This series consists of contracts for work relating to the duties of the Attorney General's Office. Most contracts of this type relate to printing of session laws and other state legal matters, as well as for work subcontracted to private law firms. Other contracts are for office space, primarily in New York City, bought or rented by the Attorney General's Office for government use. Some contracts contain handwritten notes and remarks from review by agency staff.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
