Scope and Content Note
This series consists of handwritten account journals documenting the disbursement of department funds for the suppression of the influenza epidemic (1918-1919). Types of accounts (as appropriated by the legislature) include "traveling expenses," fees for informational searches into vital statistics, care of typhoid carriers, cold storage in laboratories, equipment, etc. The volumes generally contain brief tables of contents.
