This series contains records of the collection of duties at the port of New York.
The records in this series contain: accounts of payment of duties; accounts of the Collector's Office; salary accounts; receipts; and other related material. Information usually includes name; date; amounts paid; and for what the duties were paid.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
