This series consists of incoming letters to the State Comptroller, mostly routine communications from state agencies and the executive chamber regarding such subjects as amendments to the state budget; delinquent property taxes; auction duties; responsibilities of county treasurers.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
