Scope and Content Note
This journal from the office of the Comptroller lists various financial transactions made from May 1, 1797 to October 27, 1802.
The comptroller was responsible for drawing up warrants for all monies to be paid by the Treasurer, keeping the financial records of the state, investing the state's funds, and borrowing money on the credit of the state.
