The annual statement gives monthly totals of the number and weights of cargoes weighed at weigh locks on the Erie Canal.
The weekly abstract gives the number of loaded boats weighed, the number bound for various destinations, and the poundage of cargoes weighed every day. The inventory lists furniture, laws, regulations, and directives found in the weigh masters' offices.
