Scope and Content Note
Each abstract lists names of persons and amounts paid them for fighting fires in towns within the Adirondack and Catskill Forest Preserves. The accounts were submitted by town supervisors to the Fisheries, Game and Forest Commission for reimbursement.
Attached to the abstracts are original vouchers giving dates of service, hours worked, and location of fires; there are also cancelled checks and few cover letters.
