Alphabetical subject index to "miscellaneous papers" filed in office of Comptroller. Every subject involving state finances is included, from academies to wolf bounties. After each entry is a number, presumably a bundle or item number. Scattered dates range from 1820's to 1850's. The whereabouts of the "miscellaneous papers" is uncertain, but some may be from the Audit and Control records salvaged from the Montreal paper mill in 1954.
