Scope and Content Note
This series records tax money distributed to different road districts by the Comptroller. Tax money was collected for highways and later redistributed through the Comptroller's Office. In addition to recording tax amounts received by the district for various years, this series indicates the laws by which various road districts were created, as well as the laws affecting the district.
