Scope and Content Note
Printed annual reports of the Motion Picture Commission and its successor, the Motion Picture Division. Each report contains a narrative text and accompanying statistical tables describing receipts and expenditures, examinations of and eliminations made on films reviewed, a brief description of any new or significant events affecting the agency, and a brief review of the functions and activities of each unit.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
