Scope and Content Note
This series consists of six bound volumes describing clothing issued to and received by inmates at Matteawan State Hospital. In addition, volume six contains an overall inventory of an unknown ward detailing unused clothing and clothing ordered. The format of the series differs from volume to volume but they basically provide information on what clothing was issued to an inmate, his/her name, number, date of admission, private clothing owned by the inmate, and ward number to which inmate was transferred.
