Summary:
These are reports prepared by the attorney general at the request of the legislature. They summarize petition arguments, give
legal opinions, and occasionally suggest alternative courses of action in particular cases. Subjects include claims of heirs
to estates; conveyances, claims, and disputes related to forfeited estates; and compensation for land lost to Vermont in the
boundary dispute with New York. Records are in fragile condition due to burn damage.
