Scope and Content Note
These are carbon typescripts of reports presented at monthly meetings of the Board of Visitors (called the Board of Managers until 1927) in accordance with the institution bylaws. These reports are discussed and summarized in the minutes of the meeting at which each was presented. The reports discuss such matters as staff deaths, illnesses, resignations, and leave; filling staff vacancies; inmate escapes; special school activities; purchases; and valuation of work done in shops.
