Scope and Content Note
This series consists of documentation of the benchmarks on the property of the New York State Training School for Boys, which was located in Yorktown Heights. A benchmarks is a mark on a permanent object indicating elevation and serving as a reference in topographical surveys. The records include the benchmark number; elevation; description; and location.
