Scope and Content Note
This series consists of records documenting the advertisement of state land sales in various counties, cities, towns, and villages throughout New York. The records include bills; printed newspaper notices advertising land sales; and affidavits sworn by newspaper publishers stating that the notices of sales were published.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
