These are all that remain of 80 volumes of the so-called "Holland, London and Paris Documents" (manuscript copies of official papers procured in 1841-1844 from the archives of Holland, England, and France by John Romeyn Brodhead as agent of the state).

The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
