Catalogue of Maps and Field Books in the Land Bureau of the Department of the State Engineer and Surveyor . . . (Albany: 1920) lists maps in books B, O, and 1-46 (pp. 50-54); lists field notes in books 1-48 (pp. 63-83); and indexes maps (pp. 93-110). This is the most complete listing available.; David E. E. Mix, Catalogue of Maps and Surveys in the Offices of the Secretary of State, State Engineer and Surveyor, and Comptroller . . . (Albany: 1859) incompletely lists field notes in books 3-39 and O (pp. 288-305); and indexes personal and place names (pp. 341-375). This listing is much less complete than the 1920 Catalog cited above.
