Summary:
This series consists of copies of incoming correspondence directed to Governor Edwin D. Morgan, originally found in Inspector
General's administrative correspondence files. The Executive Chamber probably forwarded these copies to the Inspector General
in order to keep him informed of current events or because they dealt with matters which required his attention. One of the
Inspector General's major responsibilities was to attend to the organization of the militia, which is what the bulk of this
correspondence is concerned with.
