Summary:
Established in 1863, the Soldiers' Depot was to be "a place of rest and relief for the sick and wounded, furloughed and discharged
soldiers belonging to the State of New York who shall have been, now are, or may hereafter be engaged in the United States
service while being transported to and from their homes..." This series consists of minutes, resolutions, reports, and a small
amount of correspondence generated by or directed to the Board of Managers of the Depot.
