Scope and Content Note
The Fire Marshal kept a record of complaints filed by people reporting dangerous conditions in various buildings.
Complaints were recorded in a register listing complaint number, date complaint filed, locality, owner or occupant of premises cited, address, classification of complaint inspector complaint referred to and inspector's recommendations, action taken by the state Fire Marshal, and, when necessary, number of violation.
