Summary:
This series reveals the activities of the city and county salvage committees and their coordination of local salvage efforts,
particularly those concerning periodic waste paper and tin collection drives. Salvage Division correspondence includes letters
of program descriptions, letters of support and congratulations, letters requesting assistance, letters concerning the resolution
of problems, and letters regarding promotional materials and awards to children for outstanding service. Field representatives'
reports; newspaper clippings; and some reports of tin salvage figures are also included.
