Summary:
This series consists of correspondence requesting information about the Oak Orchard Feeder at Medina. Most letters are to
offices of the Western Division engineer, who had responsibility for its administration and maintenance. Subjects include
location of contracts, deeds, and other records; power and ownership rights along Oak Orchard Creek; easements; possible improvements
including hydraulic development of streams entering into or issuing from the canal. Also included is a history of the "Tonawanda
and Oak Orchard Creek Feeder and Tonawanda Swamp".
