Scope and Content Note

This series contains a list of personal contributions to the Republican Party of New York State in 1910, loans secured by the party, a list of special train rebates and rebates in printing contracts, disbursements, and notation of outstanding liabilities. These campaign receipts and payment lists were filed in the secretary of state's office pursuant to section 546 of the Election Law, which required the filing of these statements within twenty days after an election.

The list of personal contributors provides the date when the contribution was received, the name of the contributor, and the amount of the donation. The lists of rebates (entitled "Schedule C" and "Schedule D") provide the name of the firm, the type of rebate, and the amount. The lists for disbursements ("Schedule F") provide the date of the transaction, with what firm, the amount, and the type of expense. The amount of disbursement is totaled at the end of the list. Finally, there appears a brief recapitulation of outstanding liabilities owed by the Republican Party.
