Scope and Content Note
This series contains itemized statements listing all monies contributed to or expended by candidates for public office (usually senator or congressman) during a special election. Each statement contains the candidate's name, street and town address, party affiliation, office contesting, district, county, monies received, date of receipt, name of donor, monies expended, date, purpose and a signed statement avowing that all the included data is correct and true.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
