This Bertillon ledger provides summary identification information on residents of the Women's Prison at Auburn. Data consists of: inmate's name; identification number (numbers 750-1680); color; aliases; term; date of sentence; county; crime; date of reception; residence; criminal act; height; stretch; trunk; spine curvature; head length and width; cheek width; right ear length; left foot; left middle finger; left little finger; left cubit; left eye color; age; nativity; occupation; forehead length and width; nose--profile and dimensions; right ear--border, lobe; teeth (e.g. full; one missing); chin (e.g. receeding); hair color and texture, complexion; weight; build; marks, scars, moles, deformities, etc.; criminal history; date examined; and doctor examining.
