Scope and Content Note
This series is comprised of letters of instruction to the Western Division Engineer's Office from the office of the State Engineer and Surveyor regarding the construction and repair of the Barge Canal. The letters contain instructions on surveying; repairs; requisitions; plans; estimates; contracts; reports; dealing with labor issues; and various other administrative aspects of constructing and maintaining the Barge Canal.
