Scope and Content Note
This series contains printed requisition forms used by the Western Division Engineer's office. These forms were used to request items and supplies from the office of the New York State Engineer and Surveyor for work on the Barge Canal as well as routine office work. The forms list the type and amount of supplies; total costs; address where items were to be sent; person requesting the items; and person to whom the form was sent.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
