This series documents the state's acquisition of real property for the Barge Canal system, pursuant to Laws of 1903, Chapter
147, as amended. The series consists of depositions sworn to by employees of the Department of Public Works stating that the
deponent had personally served notices of appropriation, along with maps and description of property appropriated for Barge
Canal purposes, upon the reputed owners of said property.
