Scope and Content Note
This series consists of a volume of preliminary estimates for construction on the Barge Canal. These forms are indexed by contract number and typically list the contract number; canal division (Eastern, Middle, or Western); description of work done; and date. Many of these forms contain tables showing the character of of work being done; quantity; prices of items being purchased; and total amounts.
