Scope and Content Note
This series consists of photographs that apparently were candidates for inclusion in Department publications.
The subjects of these photographs include: trees and vegetation; the Fairview Garden School in Yonkers, New York; orchards, fruit trees, and fruit, including a few pictures showing fruit pickers; Peckham's Pond, Harriman Road, and Central Valley Road; and clocks. Most photographs are labelled on the back, although very few are dated.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
