Scope and Content Note
This series consists of audio tape recordings, mostly on 7 inch reels, of the proceedings of Convocations of the University of the State of New York and other selected Education Department functions.
Included on these tapes are partial proceedings of convocations held between 1952 and 1970, a Regents legislative conference held in 1969, and the proceedings at Commissioner James E. Allen, Jr's. retirement dinner in 1969.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
