Administrative History

State Basic Nursing Scholarships were established in 1955. Awards usable at approved schools of nursing in New York State, are made on the basis of results of the Regents Scholarship Examination.

The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
