Scope and Content Note

Series consists of copies of pamphlets, speeches, bulletins, reports, surveys, questionnaires, clippings, and occasional memoranda maintained as a general information file by the Bureau of Rural Administrative Services and its predecessors.

These files relate to such subjects as: rural schools, including a Rural School Survey of ca. 1922; school district organization and centralization; agricultural education; curricula; transportation of students; evaluation of recommendations by the Regents' Inquiry Into the Character and Cost of Public Education; and school systems outside of New York State.
