Summary:
The Education Commissioner appointed the Executive Committee on the 150th Anniversary of the American Revolution to develop
a plan for statewide observances of events that occurred during 1776 and 1777 in New York. This series consists of correspondence,
clippings, programs and pamphlets relating to official state and local celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the American
Revolution. Correspondence relates to planning, execution and participation of the committee in local observances, and placement
of historical markers.
