Scope and Content Note
This scrapbook contains legal notices of the sale of real property mortgaged to the State of New York and put up for sale by the Attorney General or the State Engineer and Surveyor after the mortgagors had defaulted. There are also a few letters to the Attorney General pertaining to the sales.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
