This series documents the Department of Transportation's planning and implementation of federal and state highway legislation.
The Correspondence and Planning Information Files relate to implementation of Federal-Aid Highway Acts; development of the

Status and Cost Files document work on arterials, expressways, and interstates. The Planning Reports and Publications relate
to highway planning including interstates interchanges; new toll roads; and plans for specific projects.
