Scope and Content Note
This series consists of bound registers used to record cases that were brought before the the New York State Attorney General's Office. The registers include the case date, case title, and abstracts related to the status of case. The abstracts record legal documents and correspondence received and sent such as notices, motions, affidavits, and petitions; payment of court fees and other dues; and judgments and various other updates on the cases.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
