Scope and Content Note
This series contains miscellaneous documents relating to the Comptroller's administration of U.S. Deposit fund. Included are: summary report of transactions of county loan commissioners, 1911 (1 Vol.); report of lands rented by county loan commissioners, 1911 (1 vol); register of lands acquired throughout foreclosure of U.S. Deposit Fund mortgages, ca. 1910 (2 vols); lists of mortgages in force, ca, 1910; index to mortgagors, no date (gives name, county, mortgage number); requests for reduction in principal of mortgages; lists of active and closed mortgages, ca 1943-46, 1950's; schedules of mortgages, ca. 1912-15; and miscellaneous letters, court papers, lists, reports, etc. relating to mortgages.
