This card file index provides access to Governor Carey's proclamations, press releases announcing appointments, general press releases, and addresses. Each card contains the name of a person, agency, or topic covered by a document and alphanumeric code reference to the file in which the document is located.
The alphabetical codes are as follows: A -- Press releases announcing appointments; Ad -- Addresses; P -- Proclamations; and S -- Press releases. The number following each alphabetical code indicates the file number for a particular year in which the document is filed.
