Scope and Content Note
This series contains subject files pertaining to meetings of various committees and panels at which personnel from the Division of the Budget were present. The files contain reports, speech drafts, meeting agendas, press conference transcripts of Governor Hugh L. Carey, memoranda, reports on meetings held, statistical data relating to educational aid, copies of legislative bills, conference programs, and an assortment of printed matter. Some of the topics covered are the NEA Council for Human Relations, National Conference of Christians and Jews, National Association of Human Rights Workers, Conference of Large City Boards of Education, Governor's Advisory Panel of Consultants and Education Finance, and the New York State Teachers Association Advisory Committee on Equal Educational Opportunity.
