Scope and Content Note

This series consists of approximately 200 invoices, receipts, and vouchers documenting Auburn Prison purchases of food, equipment, and supplies from September to December, 1932. For each purchase, the records usually contain three items: an invoice submitted by the contractor listing the items delivered, date delivered, and price; a receipt from the prison with date items were received; and a prison voucher completed by the contractor and approved for payment.
